These fans come with 3-pin header plug that can be removed for custom applications. This wire lead is about 12 inches
RED: +12v Power
BLACK: Ground
YELLOW: If wiring directly to a 12V power supply you can ignore it. This is for a tachometer input back at the PC motherboard. The board then knows if the fan has failed.
