Transponder Monopole Antenna Doubler – Models 104-12 / 104-17
Provide a reinforced mounting surface for compatible 104-12 and 104-17 transponder monopole antennas with this aluminum antenna doubler from SteinAir.
Designed for antennas using the same mounting hole pattern, this antenna mounting plate reinforces the aircraft skin around the antenna installation and helps distribute the mounting load across a larger area. The doubler is fabricated from 0.063-inch thick 6061-T6 aluminum and measures approximately 2.5 inches in diameter.
The doubler includes a center mounting hole for the antenna and provides additional support around the antenna mounting location. It can be installed behind the aircraft skin to create a stronger, more secure mounting surface for compatible transponder monopole antennas.
